Texas Retired Teacher's Association (TRTA) is a statewide organization in Texas that works exclusively for retired public school and higher education personnel at the legislative level to maintain or improve benefits for all retirees.
TRTA is divided into 20 districts by clustering state counties.
Each district has local chapters where members can enjoy socializing, volunteering, supporting community programs, field trips, health awareness, guest speakers, and more.
TRTA is the largest organization of its kind in the United States
